Sweden study abroad can work work conditions and ways to introduce

The cost of studying abroad for a year in Sweden is quite high. Many students want to reduce the burden for their families by their own strength. Many students choose part-time jobs.

Can Sweden study abroad work?

What are the conditions and means of working?

Listen here.

First of all, we should consider their own academic arrangements, whether they have extra time, to part-time activities, because some study abroad professional courses are very heavy, there is no extra time to part-time.

Then there is the qualification permit. International students usually get F1 visa and M1 visa. As long as the former gets the work permit, they can take part-time jobs on campus and off campus.

The latter, on the other hand, can only work during the hours when the school allows internships.

Finally, the time arrangement. The government has strict requirements on the part-time work time of international students. The working time per week should not exceed 18 hours, which is also to ensure students’ study time.

2, Sweden to study abroad to work way 1. The website is similar to the domestic, there are a lot of recruitment websites in Sweden.

When you decide to look for a part-time job, you can log on to the recruitment website to find the position you want and apply for it. When you pass the interview with the employer, you can start a period of working life in Sweden.

2. Student service groups Basically every university’s student service center will have a place to introduce jobs, because they can collect a lot of job opportunities to provide students, and the data they collect can not only ensure the timeliness, but also more suitable for students.

3. A friend recommended as the saying goes “away by friends,” when you can’t find suitable for your work, you can ask your friends, maybe they just found a job that suits you, if your friend also have no, that you can also find the senior senior learning experience, have a look at how they find a job, if you are lucky,

Maybe the seniors can recommend you a job.

4. Teacher recommendation It is important to know that the professors and teachers in the school have a very wide network. If you can build a good relationship with them, they will recommend you to them if they have good opportunities to make money, and sometimes they will even share good projects with you.

5. If you find out that a store is hiring, you can go in with your resume and try to get a job offer. Some employers will be more impressed by this kind of proactive employee.

First of all, before you apply for a part-time job, you want to find out whether your school supports students to do part-time work, because different schools and majors, students’ heavy workload is not the same, must put learning in the first place.

While there is no direct limit to part-time work, there are strict requirements for students to work no more than 15 hours per week, although they can work full-time during holidays.

Of course, the most important thing is to first apply for the license to work. You need to take your student card and passport to the relevant departments in Switzerland for the process. The time for the examination usually takes five working days.

2. Part-time wage The wage of part-time jobs can be divided into two parts: basic hourly wage and tips.

The basic salary is paid by the employer and the amount is fixed;

Tips are paid by customers and vary in amount.

In Switzerland, students have a fixed hourly wage, usually around 12-15 Swiss francs an hour. Of course, this level is the average level of the service industry. If they work in high-end industries, the salary will be higher.

Switzerland also has a very common tipping system. Basically, as long as you tip, you will pay a certain amount of tips. Especially in the food service industry, the way of collecting is also different.

3. Part-time job There are various types of jobs that students can engage in, but according to the length of time, they can be divided into part-time jobs and vacation internships. Only by distinguishing these two ways can we make money by exploiting loopholes.

The hours are usually relatively sporadic, so you can earn up to CHF 900 per month on a typical basis, plus CHF 1,200 per month on expenses.

But internship is different, basically the internship salary is unified national regulations, the monthly salary is 2050-2150 Swiss francs.
