Study in Canada immigration guide study in Canada conditions

Canada has a high level of teaching and social welfare, many students studying in Canada choose to emigrate, so what are the conditions for studying abroad and immigrating to Canada?

Check out the relevant information here!

If you want to study in Canada, you can get a 3-year work visa after graduation if you are willing to study full-time in Canada for at least 2 years. You no longer need to have an employer’s certificate.

During the three years, students can apply for the experience class as long as they have worked for at least one year, and they can qualify for immigration after three to six months.

In addition, several provinces have launched a provincial nomination program for international students to attract more outstanding students to emigrate after graduation.

However, it should be noted that international students who want to study abroad should pay attention to the future career needs of the provinces and go to Canada to study. Currently, the popular majors in Canada include mining, environmental engineering, social work, finance, management, accounting, education, civil engineering and so on.

This program is available to International students in any province in Canada and is not limited to universities in Ontario.

Applicants are required to complete 2 years of university study, either diploma, certificate or degree program.

If the study is for one year, it should be the study program after you have already held a bachelor’s degree.

International students must hold A graduate work visa and have a full-time job offer from an employer in Ontario. The occupation must be NOC 0/A/B and the salary must be higher than the minimum wage for the occupation.

The employer must have been established and operated for more than 3 years, if located in the greater Toronto area, with an annual turnover of C $1 million and more than 5 full-time employees (citizens or permanent residents);

Turnover in other parts of Ontario must be up to C $500,000.

More than 3 full-time employees (citizens or permanent residents).

OINP Masters Graduate stream Ontario master program is a very popular class of international student immigration program, simply as long as it is in the university of Ontario to get a master’s degree, language scores reach CLB 7 can apply.

Applicants must have a master’s degree in an accredited school or major and have studied full-time for at least one year.

The language score is required to be CLB 7, which translates to four sixes for IELTS.

Have lived in Ontario for at least 1 year in the past 2 years and intend to live in Ontario in the future.

Basically meet the above requirements, you can apply for master’s program.

In short, as long as the university of Ontario recognized to get a doctor’s degree, no language requirements, no work experience requirements, no employer Offer requirements, without scoring,

No need to grab a spot……

But the number of international students who earn a doctorate in Canada is very small, and the path to immigration is the narrowest.

The principle of INTERNATIONAL GRADUATE program in BC is very similar to that in Ontario. Both of them are offer-driven international immigrants, that is to say, finding a job in the province is the first prerequisite.

But the difference is that first of all, BC has low requirements for study experience, as long as the study is more than 8 months is recognized (it needs to be a public university).

In addition, the requirements for employers are not as high as those in Ontario. There is no turnover limit for employers. The requirements for establishing and operating for 1 year (3 years in Ontario) and more than 5 full-time employees are the same.

There is also no limit to work experience, but the minimum limit for language grades in BC is CLB 4.

In the actual application, because BC is a point-scoring system, if the language is difficult to be scored with only CLB 4, it is generally possible to reach CLB 6-7.

The biggest difference between BC and Ontario is that, Ontario is all master and erudite holders can apply, and BC is only in the list of professional can apply.

BC’s list is overwhelmingly in science and technology categories such as agriculture, biology, natural environment and Conservation, computer science, engineering, mathematics and statistics, physical sciences, and health sciences.

The only liberal arts major on the list is digital media, a joint program between UBC and SFU, and one of four other universities, which is an academic industry that the province is focused on fostering.

In addition to the degree threshold, there are no specific requirements for age, work experience, employer Offer, language scores, spouse and marriage.

In addition, one of the greatest and greatest benefits is that the BC program does not need to be graded, nor does it need to enter the scoring system.

In plain English, apply one by one.

In short, as long as you study in Canada legally, you can obtain an open Post-graduation work permit (PGWP) after graduation.

Having local work experience in Canada is an important part of international student immigration, which will make subsequent immigration easier, which is also one of the advantages of Canadian international student immigration policy.

Different from the US, after graduation, international students need to find an employer and get a job offer before they can participate in the H1B lottery.

In Canada, as long as you have studied in Canada for more than 8 months with a student visa, you can apply for the graduate work visa without obstacles.

Different from the employer’s work visa, the graduate work visa for international students is open work visa. There is no need to look for a job in advance. After getting the work visa, they can find a job with any employer.

In order to obtain a graduate work permit, the first step is to determine whether the school and program are eligible to apply for the graduate work permit DLI. Generally, all degree programs of public schools (universities, colleges) and private schools are eligible, while non-degree programs of private schools need to be confirmed separately.
