What is the real life of a New Zealand migrant

Travelling is one of the most exciting and enriching experiences that one can have. Many people from around the world are keen to explore new destinations, try new foods, and immerse themselves in different cultures. If you are a non-UK resident holding a valid UK visa, you may be wondering which countries you can visit. In this article, we will highlight some of the countries that you can visit with a UK visa and provide you with information on the visa requirements, popular attractions, and travel tips.

European Union (EU) Countries:

The European Union is a bloc of 27 countries that are located primarily in Europe. As a UK visa holder, you can visit any of these countries without needing a separate visa. However, there are certain restrictions that you need to be aware of. Firstly, your UK visa must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into the EU country that you are visiting. Secondly, you cannot stay in the EU for more than 90 days in any 180-day period. Some of the popular EU countries that you can visit include France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece, and Portugal.

France: Known for its romantic capital city, Paris, France has plenty to offer visitors, including the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Palace of Versailles.

Spain: From the beaches of Costa del Sol to the stunning architecture of Barcelona, Spain is a top destination for tourists. You can also indulge in delicious tapas and wine while soaking up the sun.

Italy: With its rich history and cultural heritage, Italy is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in art, architecture, and cuisine. The Colosseum, the Vatican City, and the canals of Venice are just a few of the many attractions that Italy has to offer.

Germany: One of Europe’s economic powerhouses, Germany is known for its strong industrial base and technological prowess. But it also has plenty of tourist attractions, including the Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Wall, and Oktoberfest.

Greece: With its ancient ruins, stunning beaches, and delicious food, Greece is a popular destination for tourists from around the world. The Acropolis in Athens, the island of Santorini, and the party town of Mykonos are just some of the many attractions that you can visit.

Portugal: From the vibrant capital city of Lisbon to the sunny beaches of the Algarve, Portugal has something for everyone. You can also explore the historic city of Porto or indulge in some port wine tasting.

Commonwealth Countries:

The Commonwealth is an association of 54 countries that were formerly part of the British Empire. As a UK visa holder, you can visit a number of Commonwealth countries without needing a separate visa. However, the visa requirements and duration of stay may vary depending on the country that you are visiting. Some of the popular Commonwealth countries that you can visit include Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Australia: Known for its stunning natural beauty, Australia is a top destination for backpackers, adventure seekers, and beach lovers. You can visit the Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, and Sydney Opera House, among other landmarks.

Canada: With its stunning landscapes, friendly people, and multicultural cities, Canada is a great place to visit any time of the year. You can explore the Rocky Mountains, Niagara Falls, and the cosmopolitan city of Toronto.

New Zealand: From the towering peaks of the Southern Alps to the pristine beaches of the North Island, New Zealand is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. You can go hiking, skiing, kayaking, and much more. Don’t forget to try the local delicacy, the meat pie!

Singapore: A bustling city-state located in Southeast Asia, Singapore is known for its modern architecture, hawker food, and shopping. You can visit the iconic Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, and Sentosa Island.

United States of America (USA):

The United States of America is a popular destination for tourists from around the world. As a UK visa holder, you may be eligible to travel to the USA without needing a separate visa. This is because the USA has a Visa Waiver Program (VWP) that allows citizens of certain countries, including the UK, to enter the country for business or tourism purposes for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa. However, you must apply for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) before your trip. Some of the popular US destinations include New York City, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Orlando.

Asia:

Asia is a vast and diverse continent that offers a mix of ancient traditions and modern culture. As a UK visa holder, you can visit many Asian countries without needing a separate visa. Some of the popular Asian destinations include Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Malaysia.
