What are the conditions and procedures for applying for a loan for studying abroad in Japan

There are many students who go to Japan to study abroad. Many people will also apply for loans to study in Japan. What are the conditions and procedures of loans to study in Japan?

Next, let’s make up here to introduce you!

1. A natural person who is at least 18 years old and has full capacity for civil conduct and whose actual age at the maturity date of the loan is not more than 55 years old;

2. Have local permanent residence or valid residence status, with a fixed and detailed address;

3. Provide the official admission notice or acceptance letter issued by the school you intend to study abroad, or other valid admission certificates;

Proofs of tuition and miscellaneous expenses required during the study period;

A passport with an entry visa to the host country of the intended student;

4, no bad credit and illegal behavior, good health, honest and trustworthy character;

5. If the immediate family members, legal guardians or spouses of the students studying abroad borrow money, they must have a fixed residence, a legitimate occupation, stable and reliable income, good credit, and the ability to repay the loan on time.

In principle, the loan limit shall not exceed 80% of the total tuition and miscellaneous expenses and living expenses required by the overseas students during their study in the university.

The sum of RMB equivalent to the application fee, tuition fee, living expenses and other necessary expenses in one year specified in the admission letter or other valid admission certificate shall not exceed RMB 500,000.

The term of the loan for studying abroad: it is determined according to the duration of study abroad, the income of the borrower and the guarantee ability of the guarantor and the collateral. Generally, it ranges from 1 to 6 years. The maximum is 6 years for Pudong Development Bank and 10 years for Bank of China.

1. The bank lender will give a reply within 7 working days upon receipt of the borrower’s application materials.

If it does not agree to the loan, the lender will explain the reasons to the borrower and return all materials provided by the borrower;

If the lender agrees to the loan, it shall notify the borrower of the amount, term, interest rate and repayment plan of the loan, sign the loan contract and guarantee contract with the borrower and the guarantor, and go through the relevant loan procedures.

2. If the borrower is the person studying abroad, the domestic agent shall be present and sign the loan contract at the time of signing.

3. If the loan is guaranteed by legal person, the legal representative or the valid authorized agent of the guarantor must be present and sign the guarantee contract.

4. If the loan is secured by a natural person, the guarantor must be present and sign and seal the guarantee contract.

5. The loan contract and guarantee contract must be notarized with enforcement effect. The Principal Agency Agreement between the borrower and its domestic agent shall be signed and notarized at the same time as the above contract.

6. The Borrower shall bear the costs of the evaluation, insurance, registration and notarization of the mortgaged property and the pledged property.

At present, the loan guarantee mortgage approved by banks is limited to three kinds of real estate mortgage, pledge and credit guarantee, and the amount of these three kinds of mortgage loans has also been specified.

Real estate mortgage: the loan amount shall not exceed 60% of the value of the mortgage approved by the lender;

Pledge: if national bonds or bank certificates of deposit are used as collateral, the loan amount shall not exceed 80% of the value of the collateral;

Where enterprise bonds are used as collateral, the loan amount shall be determined according to the credit standing of the bond issuer and shall not exceed 60% of the face value of the collateral;

Credit guarantee: if a third party provides joint and several liability guarantee, if the guarantor is a legal person recognized by the bank, the full amount can be issued;

If it is a natural person approved by the bank, the loan amount shall not exceed RMB200,000.

1. The food and beverage cost is to cook and eat by yourself, which can save expenses to a certain extent. It is recommended that you go to the supermarket to buy food materials after 8:00 p.m., at which time there will be a discount promotion, and the monthly expenditure is about 1500 yuan.

If you don’t want to do it yourself, you can go to the restaurant or the canteen to eat. The price difference of simple meals is not particularly big. Generally, a meal is about 30 yuan, so the monthly expenditure will be about 3,000 yuan, which is still relatively expensive.

2. Accommodation Fee The dormitory provided by the school is very limited, which is usually unethical to apply for, but you can choose a slightly expensive apartment with good conditions, which usually has a separate bathroom and kitchen, which can meet your needs. It costs 3000-5000 yuan per month.

Students with a relatively small budget can choose various forms of co-renting, which requires everyone to share the public space, but can share all kinds of expenses, which can greatly reduce the economic pressure of studying abroad. The monthly cost is 2000-3000 yuan.

3, travel costs even for public travel, the cost will be several times higher than domestic, this is mainly because of the different social nature of the two countries, so when you rent a house, you must take this problem into consideration, do not be too far away from the school.

It will be cheaper to apply for a monthly or annual pass, and you only need to charge money regularly. The subway charges by mileage, and the cost is between 10-20 yuan.

The bus fee is fixed, about 15 yuan each way.

4. Shopping expenses usually people will have a variety of expenses, and shopping occupies a large proportion.

There are many inexpensive shops in Japan. If your requirements are not high, you can consider these shops. You need to prepare at least 2000 yuan a month.
