What are the matters needing attention when studying abroad in Britain

A direct flight from China to the UK usually takes 11 hours.

Due to the strict requirements of international flights, it is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours in advance and arrange the boarding time according to the passenger flow.

So what do we need to know about the British study abroad?

Let’s take a look at some matters needing attention when studying abroad in Britain.

Upon arrival at the airport, make a boarding plan in advance, pay attention to the departure time of the flight, and stop boarding 45 minutes before the flight.

Therefore, the first thing to do is to find the appropriate flight counter to check in according to the flight schedule.

Check in: Hand your passport to the person at the check-in desk and wait to check in.

When waiting for the check-in staff to process, you can put your luggage on the check-in belt for weighing and security check.

If the luggage is too large or overweight, there will be a certain air freight charge.

If there is a problem with baggage security, the suitcase must be opened for inspection.

If the circumstances are serious, he may be punished according to law.

After everything is normal, the check-in staff will return the boarding pass, baggage ticket, passport and so on to me.

Security check: After saying goodbye to your relatives and friends, you can go to the security check line, provide security personnel with your passport and boarding pass, and stamp the boarding pass.

Then go through the security gate and carry items (e.g., belts, keys, cell phones, computers, ipads, umbrellas, rechargeable batteries, etc.) from the X-ray machine next to the gate.

After passing the security check, enter the departure hall (international flight security check may take 2-3 hours, please arrange the time reasonably).

Boarding: At this point, you need to follow the boarding pass instructions to find the gate.

In general, the boarding pass will indicate the terminal and gate number.

Just follow the airport signs to find the right location.

If you need to change the gate or find it unclear, consult the airport staff.

Upon arrival, check the boarding status on the screen and wait for the boarding announcement.

When boarding, you should give your boarding pass and passport to the staff for inspection.

If there are no errors, the agent can board the plane, find his or her position based on the seat number of the boarding pass, place carry-on luggage in the baggage hold, turn off the electronics, and wait for takeoff.
