French art study abroad has what kind of art university recommend

As we all know, France is famous for romance, and the attainments in the field of art and art in France are very high. There are also many artists born here, so France is the cradle of the development of artists, so what art schools to study in France recommend?

Today I will introduce it to you. If you are interested in this topic, please click here.

There are many art colleges and universities in France. Small New focus will introduce the three colleges and universities that Chinese students most often apply for: public universities, public academies of fine arts and private academies of art.

1. Public universities There are more than 70 public universities in France, which offer comprehensive courses: art, literature and language;

The humanities;

Law and Political science;

Science;

Economics and Management;

Sports Science and Technology and Kinematics;

Medicine.

Art departments in public universities offer majors in plastic arts, film and audio-visual, performing arts, musicology, etc. The courses are more theoretical, such as fine arts theory, art history, film aesthetics, iconography, music writing, etc., and language courses.

Of course, practical courses are also offered, such as painting, sketching, photography and so on. The proportion of theoretical courses and practical courses varies from school to school, but the overall proportion of theoretical courses is more than that of public art academies and private art colleges.

Public universities have no tuition fees and only a small registration fee. After graduation, you can get the French national diploma. If you want to become an art critic, curator, or art teacher in universities, then the art department of public universities is a very good choice.

Recommended universities: Paris 3, Paris 8, Lyon 2, Montpellier 3, Grenoble University, Bordeaux 3, etc.

2. Public Art Academy If you want to become an independent artist, you can choose the public art academy in France.

There are 56 public academies of fine arts in France. The scale of public academies is small, with only a few hundred students in each school. Public academies also do not require tuition, and the registration fee is only 500-1000 euros per year.

Fine arts schools generally have three major categories, plastic arts (pure art), art design, communication, different fine arts schools focus on different areas.

The curriculum is more artistic, which can be divided into theoretical courses and practical courses. The theoretical courses include philosophy, art history, etc., while the practical courses are different for different majors.

The school has a variety of workshops for carpentry, sculpture, photography, printmaking, sound and more. For some classes, the school provides free materials.

The school will also hold various art lectures and workshops. The school will also organize students to go to other cities or other countries to see exhibitions and participate in art activities, which are generally free of charge.

Recommended institutions: Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts in Selzi, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts in Versailles, etc.

3. There are thousands of private applied art colleges in France, providing art and design courses, can recruit senior high school graduates, the length of study is 3 to 5 years, graduation can be awarded the school diploma, most of the courses have been included in the National Vocational Certificate Certification Directory (RNCP), can be certified.

The fees of private colleges of practical arts are more expensive than those of public universities, generally ranging from 3,000 to 12,000 euros per year. However, private colleges usually arrange internships, during which they will have an internship salary of about 500 euros.

Private applied art colleges offer a variety of majors: costume design, interior design, product design, animation design, graphic design, director, etc. The courses are very practical, and it is easier to find a job after graduation.

Recommended institutions: LISAA Advanced School of Applied Art and Design, CREAPOLE Advanced School of Art Design and Management, STRATE Design Academy, ECV, IFM French Institute of Fashion, etc.

1. High school education and above application for bachelor’s degree: high school graduation (through the examination to obtain high school graduation qualification).

Applying for Master’s and Doctoral degrees: Both educational background and work experience should be considered (having enough professional work experience can help you apply for grade skipping).

2. Strong learning ability High school graduates are mainly based on college entrance examination scores.

Apply for European key universities, some high business, engineering colleges need a domestic score.

Regular French public universities require two domestic grades.

For students with comprehensive development and excellent comprehensive quality, the gaokao score can be appropriately relaxed: the number of key European universities can be reduced to two, and the number of ordinary public universities can be three.

University students and graduates are mainly based on university results.

For domestic students applying for advanced study in relevant majors in French universities, the admission stage will be decided according to the conversion results of credits from European universities.

Language level: 1. If you are majoring in science and engineering, the language requirement is not too high, and you have one year’s language experience, you should reach the A2 level of the European Union or above;

If you are entering a major with high language level but also have 1 year of language, or you want to enter a preparatory program (regardless of whether the language level is high), you need B1 level or above;

If it is not a language or preparatory course, but a direct entry into the major, then at least the level of B2, C1 is more common!

2. English teaching IELTS 5.5/ TOEFL 100 or above, different schools have different requirements.

Cost: 50,000 ~ 70,000 yuan per year.

International students who apply for tuition free admission to French public universities only need to provide a deposit certificate of 50,000 to 100,000 RMB and annual living expenses of 50,000 to 70,000 RMB in France (60,000 to 90,000 RMB in Paris) when applying for a domestic visa.

Students applying to private schools will have to pay an additional annual tuition fee, which is based on the tuition fee announced by each school for the year.
