What is the way to study abroad in New Zealand

Graduated from high school to apply for New Zealand to study abroad is there any way to graduate from high school to go to New Zealand to study in New Zealand education system is very flexible, for the various stages of different students with different study abroad options, high school students can choose according to their own situation for their own study plan, travel to New Zealand to study, at present may refer to the following plan:

1. Students who have graduated from high school can first enter the preparatory courses (8-12 months) of eight national universities in New Zealand, and then enter the undergraduate courses after completing the preparatory courses.

2. Students who have graduated from Senior three can apply for the 1-year express junior college program in New Zealand universities. After completing the express Junior college program, they can study for another 2 years to complete the undergraduate program.

3. Students who have graduated from senior three can enroll in a 2-year junior college program at a public polytechnic in New Zealand and get a 1-year work visa after graduation;

If you need to continue your undergraduate study, you can complete your undergraduate study in the university for an additional 1 year.

4. Students who have graduated from the third year of high school and want to study technical courses in New Zealand to facilitate employment and immigration can choose 2-year technical college courses in New Zealand polytechnic or private schools, such as Western pastry, Western kitchen, horticulture, winemaking, auto repair, etc.

One way to study abroad in New Zealand: preparatory + undergraduate students who have finished the second year of high school or the third year of high school in China. If they want to study in New Zealand, they can first enter the preparatory courses of eight public universities in New Zealand. The length of schooling generally ranges from 8-12 months.

Students who complete the preparatory courses and meet the corresponding requirements can enter the first-year undergraduate course.

Ielts entry requirements: 5.0-5.5 Recommended institutions: ACG Auckland University Preparatory, ACG Auckland University of Technology Preparatory, ACG Victoria University of Wellington Preparatory.

Route 2: After the completion of the national college entrance examination, you can directly apply for admission to a three-year undergraduate course in a New Zealand university based on your college entrance examination results, without studying preparatory courses, which saves time and money.

This scheme requires more language than others.

Recommended universities: Massey University, University of Canterbury (required to score higher than the domestic one), Unitec Institute of Technology, Wintec Waikato Institute of Technology (required to score higher than the domestic two).

Each year New Zealand colleges and universities issued a slightly adjusted entrance examination score line, we will pay attention to the new information.

Third year high school graduates can also apply for the one-year Express Diploma course in New Zealand universities. After completing the Express Diploma course, they can directly enter the second year undergraduate course in New Zealand universities, and continue to study for 2 years to complete the undergraduate study.

High school graduates to study in New Zealand high school students studying in New Zealand can not directly enter the undergraduate.

Most universities in New Zealand are three-year programs. Since secondary education is different from that in China, the first year of college is equivalent to the second year of college in China. High school students in New Zealand finish the preparatory study in the last year of secondary school.

To study in New Zealand after graduation from high school, students need to attend preparatory courses for a period of time.

For undergraduate study in New Zealand, foreign students at eight and 25 polytechnics in New Zealand must have achieved IELTS Academic 6.0 or TOEFL 550.

Those who do not meet this standard can first attend language classes at various universities or language schools outside the university. Admission is only possible through a language test, and the university reserves the right to enroll students during the period of language study.

7. After 1-2 years of study, one or two open work visas can be obtained to obtain local employment opportunities.
