Apply TO STUDY ABROAD IN Canada GRADUATE SCHOOL, what does the MATERIAL THAT SHOULD USE COMMONLY HAVE?

Because this is the need to prepare in advance, so we still come here to see the need to prepare these materials.

1. Four-year Bachelor’s degree (if you have not graduated yet, please provide the transcripts of your freshman and junior years in both Chinese and English with the official seal of the university).

2, college GPA3, 0 or above (average score at least 75 or above).

3, English test scores (TOEFL or IELTS, some schools or individual programs will require GRE or GMAT scores).

4. If you have not graduated yet, please provide proof of study.

(If you have not graduated at the time of application and are accepted, you will be asked for a copy of your diploma.)

5. Relevant work experience is required for individual majors, such as MBA and education.

6. Personal statement should tell whether you like this major, to what extent you like it, and what are your ideas for the future. To go to graduate school or doctoral school, you must talk about your views on this field and tell your love for it.

The length should be moderate, 600-800 English words.

7, Personal resume in English is generally one page of A4 paper, to the point, if there is a lot of work background or research background, it is recommended not to exceed 2 pages.

It generally includes the following contents: educational background, English and comprehensive ability, awards won, the introduction of the unit where you have worked and practiced, etc.

Finally, include personal information such as name, gender, date and place of birth, mailing address, contact E-MAIL, telephone number, etc.

8. Two to three letters of recommendation should include at least two academic recommendations, that is, two professors or teachers. The recommendation mainly focuses on your academic ability and research ability, and takes into account extracurricular activities and social activities.

9. If you are applying for liberal arts postgraduate, some schools will also require Writing Sample.

10. If you are not awarded a scholarship, some schools will require proof of funding to show that you have sufficient funds to complete your studies.

1. Applicants for Canadian graduate programs are required to be domestic undergraduate students or graduates. After graduation, students need to hold an undergraduate diploma and degree certificate certified by the Ministry of Education of China.

For students from 211 and 985 schools, a weighted average score of 80/100 or above is required; for students from other schools, an average score of 85/100 or above is more competitive.

2. The language test for studying abroad in Canada is mainly IELTS. Before applying for a specific school, students need to confirm which test scores are approved by the school.

Generally speaking, postgraduate applications require students to have an IELTS score of 6 or 5 or above.

Toefl accredited schools generally require a TOEFL score of 90 or above.

There are no hard and hard rules for GRE and GMAT. However, some prestigious universities in Canada recommend that students provide their scores for these tests in order to select better applicants. Usually, students majoring in science and engineering can provide their scores for GRE and students majoring in business can provide their scores for GMAT.

A score of 310 or higher on the GRE and 580 or higher on the GMAT is generally recommended.

3. Canadian schools generally require students to provide a set of documents including resume, personal statement and recommendation letter, so as to have a general understanding of the comprehensive ability and academic research level of applicants.

4. Graduate students of some majors in Canada need work experience.

For example, applying for an MBA or master’s degree in education in Canada will require students to have relevant work experience.

2. Direct undergraduate admission: It is difficult for top students to apply directly, because the comprehensive strength of students is required to be strong. There is no unified university entrance examination in Canada, so students are only required to provide their usual scores and language scores when applying.

However, most top schools require Chinese students to provide additional results for the national college entrance and general examination.

Therefore, if the Chinese students have very good conditions, excellent grades, English pass, and abundant extracurricular activities, they can completely try to apply for Canadian universities directly.

Canadian universities recognize China’s basic education and are willing to accept truly outstanding students.

3. Dual Enrollment: Secure Way to Study in Universities Overseas students who do not have a qualified TOEFL or IELTS score can also apply for ESL+ dual enrollment to study in some prestigious Canadian universities.

After reviewing and determining the requirements of a student’s application, these schools will send two offers to the student simultaneously: one from the language center and one from the university.

The University Language Center is called ESL.

The ESL courses are divided into different levels. Students will take the entrance exam when they arrive at school and are assigned to different levels according to their scores.
