What universities do you recommend to study in Sydney? What are the entry requirements?

Actuarial requirements: IELTS 6.5;

Founded in 1989, the University of Western Sydney is Australia’s first joint university with the largest network of schools in the country.

Over the past decade, the University of Western Sydney has gained a wide national and international reputation for the quality of its learning environment and professional background.

The university has also established excellent research areas and has extensive links with domestic enterprises and business institutions.

The University has partnerships with more than 50 universities and higher education institutions in more than 20 countries.

In Singapore. In India.

Malaysia. China.

Both Taiwan and Hong Kong have overseas courses and qualifications.

Advantage Major: Nursing, translation.

Requirements: IELTS 6.5;

The average score of 211 colleges and universities is over 70, while the average score of non-211 colleges and universities is over 75.

1. Ielts: The basic requirement is that the total score of IELTS is 6.5 or above, with no less than 6.0 for each item.

The University of Sydney, some courses such as law, translation, education, medicine, architecture and other majors require a higher IELTS score of 7.0 or above, and the Teaching major even requires an IELTS score of 7.5, listening and speaking 8.0.

2. Toefl: The basic requirement is a total score of 79+ in TOEFL iBT, or a total score of 577+ in TOEFL pBT, and a TWE of 4.5.

Some majors such as education, medicine, law, and honors programs require a total score of 94+ in TOEFL iBT.

Accommodation Accommodation is always a large part of all expenses.

1. University dormitories – The general charge for University dormitories is relatively high. Taking the University of New South Wales as an example, the accommodation fee is generally between 230 Australian dollars and 800 Australian Dollars.

2. Host Families — Choosing a host family is a matter of comparison.

Typically, host families provide two or three meals a day.

If you can’t cook, a host family is a good choice.

The cost of such accommodation varies according to room facilities, geographical location and other conditions, and is basically the same as the school dormitory.

3. Renting alone — Many international students prefer to rent outside the campus for more freedom.

In Sydney, Australia, the general landlord will bear the water, electricity, gas and other costs.

If it is an intermediary room, most of the time you need to pay the relevant fees.

The Internet fee is usually paid once a month and costs about A $60.

Electricity is paid quarterly and costs about A $200 to A $300.

The gas bill is based on the number of cooking times.

If you cook a lot, you’ll usually pay around A $200 to A $300 per meal.

Lunch in Sydney typically costs between A $10 and A $15.

Students can choose to eat in the school canteen or a nearby restaurant.

Dinner costs around A $15.

If they want to eat better, they need about 25 Australian dollars.

Of course, if you choose to cook your own meals, you can usually meet your dietary needs for only A $5.

The cost of a month’s meals is around A $600.

The cost of studying in Sydney is about A $30.

Students who live nearby can choose to walk to school, but this requires a distance between the house and the school.

Of course, students with a driver’s license can also choose to drive to school, which is temporarily excluded from the cost of living.

Other expenses: Daily toiletries cost about 50 Australian dollars per month, basic phone plan costs 40 Australian dollars, daily necessities cost about 30 Australian dollars per month.
