Tips for studying abroad in Italy

Before going to Italy to study abroad to prepare a lot of things, food, clothing, housing and transportation things to prepare enough, then follow together to understand the Italian study life matters needing attention.

A guide to local life — the average summer temperature in central and northern Italy is 26 ~ 30¡æ, and the average winter temperature is -4¡æ ~ 10¡æ.

Italy is the birthplace of fashion, with many clothing brands.

Every winter and summer, clothes will be very cheap, students can bring less clothes, buy locally.

Two, LIFE guide – Food Italian food as the mother of Western food, one of the world’s four major cuisines, its varieties are unusually rich.

Pizza, Spaghetti, cheese, sausages, etc., are all necessary foods in Western life.

Italian wine, olive oil production ranks first in the world.

Italy’s annual production of various kinds of noodles up to 2 million tons, the annual average consumption of 30 kilograms.

In Italy, the last thing to worry about is “eating”, students in addition to their own cooking, school canteen.

The cost of eating out is not too high, and I can appreciate Italian food culture and slow life more.

Italians generally attach importance to dinner, important treats are often arranged in the evening, with spouses.

Lunch, generally known as a working meal, is relatively simple and ends in an hour without spouses.

Dinner TIME IS LONGER, OFTEN SIDE DRINK WHEN HAVING DINNER, SIDE CHAT, A MEAL WANTS TO EAT MORE THAN TWO HOURS EVEN LONGER TIME, THEY COMPARE PRAISE FOR SLOW FOOD MOVEMENT, THINK THIS IS THE REAL FOOD CULTURE.

3, local life guide – In addition to the large comprehensive universities have student dormitory, most of the students need to rent a house.

And the cost performance of renting is much higher than the student dormitory.

Most colleges and universities have a Housing Department that helps students find housing.

Other ways to find an apartment: introduction of friends, classmates and acquaintances to the target area casting net type field search (looking for roadside rental information in the familiar area) Local professional housing rental agents (easy, convenient and reliable) Reliable Italian housing search website, CasaClick, Chinese community news sharing or other social networking sites

Finally, remind female students to look for an apartment, suggest not to go alone, safety or the most important.

The public transportation in Italy is very convenient. The bus and subway tickets need to be purchased at the bar or ticket window in advance. After getting on the bus, the tickets can be used within the limited time.

(Usually divided into 1 hour pass, 3 hours pass, day pass, monthly pass, annual pass, etc.)

Train tickets: Train tickets also need to be purchased in advance at the ticket window or at discounted prices online.

The train stops at the same time, get on the ticket can be very convenient.

Air fare: Ryanair is the cheapest airline to travel in Europe.

Other good low-cost airlines are EasyJet, germanwings, etc. 5. After applying for residence in Italy, students must apply for a residence permit immediately (within 8 days after arriving in Italy) How to get a residence permit?

1. New students should first go to the post office to the Sportello Amico* counter and ask them for a KIT Permesso di soggiorno envelope (passport must be brought);

There are two forms in the envelope, only need to fill in MOD 209 MODULO 1;

3. A fee of €107.50 must be paid if the envelope contains a payment slip;

4. You also have to buy stamp duty tickets (16 euros) in TABACCHI.

5. In order to properly prepare KIT Permesso di soggiorno there should be these materials *** :

– Properly completed MOD 209 MODULO 1 Form – Copy of IED offer (stamped by Italian Embassy) – Copy of Passport information page and copy of visa page (two pages of visa page) – Medical Insurance _ ASSICURAZIONE SANITARIA-

Four passport photos (2 “white background) – stamp duty tickets _ MARCA DA BOLLO6.

Take KIT Permesso di soggiorno back to the post office, where the clerk checks the materials and pays 30 euros: the student gets a post office invoice (residency).

The residence permit is an important piece of information for you while you are waiting for your residence permit, and the student will receive a hand-printed letter stating the appointment time (including the interview time and address).

7. Students are required to go to the police station on time to make their handprints, and bring the original documents in KIT Permesso di soggiorno and the letter of appointment time.

8. After obtaining the post office invoice and residence permit.
