What are the ways to apply for a green card

The United States, with its developed economy, perfect welfare system, first-class education and good salary, has become the first choice for many immigrants.

So what are the ways to apply for a green card?

Let’s make up here to take you to understand it.

1. Investment immigration.

EB-5 is the code name for the immigrant visa category in U.S. immigration law. It is created for overseas investor immigrants, but the U.S. government only issues 10,000 investor immigrants to China each year.

2. Special contribution, contact with talents and technical immigrants.

Immigrants in this category are those who have won MEDALS at the Olympics, international and national awards for outstanding contributions in a professional field.

3. Become a senior executive immigrant of multinational companies, obtain senior executive immigration of multinational companies, and obtain EB-1 visa.

If the applicant has a business, a multinational company, and is strong enough, he or she can apply for an EB-1 visa, or family Green card.

But in recent years, the United States has antagonized the United States.

EB-1 visas use a lottery quota, which means that even with such powerful multinational companies, they may not be successful, depending on the odds.

4. Get a Class K visa if you marry an American partner.

K In US immigration law, class visa refers to the visa code for a Chinese citizen who marries a US citizen and starts a family to obtain a US green card.

This method of applying for a U.S. green card has also become popular in recent years because it has a higher success rate than other methods.

5. Family migration.

If you and a U.S. citizen are children, parents, or other relatives, you may have the opportunity to obtain a U.S. green card.

But this method has an age limit and needs to be arranged.

6. Study in the United States and obtain a Class F visa.

Visa F is the visa code for US students.

But studying in the United States, tuition fees and living expenses are quite high, so ordinary families are generally out of reach.

If you are a wealthy person, you will usually get a US green card by sending your children to study and work in the US.

7. Apply for a green card as an investment.

If you have a friend in the United States who has a company in the United States, you can apply for a green card in the name of investment.

As for the investment amount, it needs to be within the legal eligibility limits for a green card application.

8. Labor immigration, EB3 visa.

This is employer guaranteed immigration, the threshold is very low.

Employees can easily immigrate to the United States as long as their employers are willing to help them apply for a U.S. green card and pass the screening.

But relatively speaking, the timetable is relatively long.

9. Apply for a green card in the name of adopting a child.

Let people who have American citizenship handle the process of adopting a domestic child, so that the child can have the legal status of the United States.

But this method requires a cumbersome adoption process to be completed by the age of 16 in order to meet many conditions.

10. Apply for a green card as a religious person.

The United States provides a way for religious people to apply for green cards, which they can receive quickly if they meet the requirements.

But in this case, the bar is relatively high.

The only advantage is that few people migrate this way, so the timetable is relatively short.

11. Apply for asylum and get a green card.

In the United States Immigration Act, the general fee for asylum applications, including political, religious and refugee applications, ranges from only $3,000 to $10,000.

But there are many steps to apply for asylum and it takes a long time to get a green card in the United States this way. It’s a very time-consuming way.

12. Go to America to have a baby.

As long as the child is born in the United States, he can obtain American citizenship.

If a family has a child born in the United States, as long as the child is 21 years old, he can help the family apply for a green card, citing application for relative immigration.

2. Application Process 1.

1. Passport;

2. Digital photo file: applicant, his/her spouse and unmarried child under 21 years of age;

3. Materials to be filled in the application form (please refer to the previous year’s application form).

2. Verify the format of the photo lottery file;

2. The file size must not exceed 2400KB.

3. The photo size is 6000×600;

4. Photo size is 24-bit color 3.

Fill in the application form 1. Log in to the official application website of the United States /;

2. Fill in the application form;

3. Upload a digital photo file.
