Can I do part-time study in France

There are more and more students studying preparatory courses in France, and many students want to do part-time work in the preparatory course. So before applying for the preparatory course, we must know whether we can do part-time work in the preparatory study in France and what are the preparatory programs in France.

Here is the introduction for you.

If you have a Chinese passport and are studying in France, you are allowed to take a part-time job in a French preparatory program.

To work in France you need: 1) a residence permit (carte de sejour);

2) Current student ID card (carte d ‘etudiant);

3) A valid passport;

4) titre de sejour (one-year “student” residence permit). Schools registered in that year should have a student insurance REGIME DE LA SECURITE SOCIALE DES ETUDIANTS. Some private schools, especially language schools,

Without the qualification of social insurance for students, students cannot buy social insurance in schools, only private student insurance, and students in these schools are not entitled to apply for part-time work.

Students must not work more than 964 hours a year, or more than 20 hours a week.

During the holidays, students have the right to work full time, but only for a maximum of three months per year.

Note: If you work full time for 3 months and then work half time, you will have to subtract 3 full months of work from the annual allowable hours (964 hours), leaving 509.35 hours.

I can’t work more than that for the rest of the year.
