How does German student graduate seek a job to study abroad Germany employment prospect how

Study in Germany after graduation, if you want to stay in Germany for development, we first have to find a stable job, here for you to answer the details of how German students graduate to find a job and study in Germany employment prospects.

1. One of the most commonly used websites to find a job through the Internet is Linkedin.

The great thing about Linkedin is that it allows you to do some real time social networking with people in your company.

This will help with cover letters and interviews.

Germany’s homegrown Linkedin site is called Xing.

Personally, I think Xing is still a bit behind Linkedin in terms of popularity.

Refining your profile on Linkedin or Xing can sometimes lead to headhunters reaching out to you.

In addition, there are some common job sites such as Glassdoor, indeed, monster and so on.

Once you’ve sent your cover letter and resume, you can wait for the company to respond.

In Germany, companies typically conduct phone interviews followed by video interviews.

If you make it to the final round, you will usually be asked to go to the company for an interview.

According to German law, all travel expenses incurred in the interview shall be borne by the interview company.

If you are invited to the company for an interview, visa fees, airfare and hotel expenses will be reimbursed by the company even if you are not hired in the end.

Therefore, for the company, the cost of the interview is much higher than the domestic.

However, if you have enough experience and skills to convince a company to consider you, this is the easiest way to find a job.

2. Agencies find jobs through Zeitarbeit, a job agency.

Although the job is easy to find, it is exploited by the intermediary companies, the salary is relatively low, and the job is not stable. However, the jobs introduced to students are not very tiring, and it is still a good choice for students who do not directly apply for vacation jobs in the company.

If you do it for three months, you’ll be able to cover the rest of your expenses.

3. Introduction of the Labor Bureau of each city (Arbeitsamt) will release some jobs suitable for students free of charge and update the information regularly. However, many students have high requirements on German, especially those who just arrived in Germany, may not be suitable for many jobs.

It is still easy to find a suitable job here.

1, study in Germany development part of the students to find a job in Germany, this part is generally have the intention of immigration students, during the study will pay attention to the national policy, and can be prepared according to the requirements, the follow-up when applying for immigration can score points for themselves.

In addition, I will make good use of holidays and internship arrangements, and choose to find relevant internship jobs in my own country. In this way, I will have the opportunity to directly enter the job when I apply for jobs in the future, at least I will have sufficient relevant experience, and the job search will be more smooth.

The government also has relatively relaxed visa requirements for such high-quality talents. After completing their studies, they can directly apply for a job seeker visa, which can be extended for up to one year, giving them enough time to find a satisfactory job.

2. Most of the students who return to China for development will choose to directly return to China to find a job after completing their studies. Please remember to freeze all information or live on campus before returning to China, and refund tuition fees and salary income to make sure that they have no problems left over in Germany.

In addition, you also need to obtain their academic qualifications for the certification of the two countries, in the embassy can be, the university issued the diploma has been authenticated by the German Ministry of Education, you only need to submit your certificate to the embassy for certification can complete the process.

The job-hunting after returning to China is similar to that of native students, but the competition will be more competitive, and the salary level will be higher, in addition to the benefits provided by the government, such as priority to get a hukou, tax-free car purchase and start-up subsidies.

3. There are still a small number of students who will choose to work in other countries. Due to the high value of German certificates and the recognition of teaching quality by all countries in the world, they will have a relatively smooth job hunting road, but they still need to have their own clear planning.

When choosing the target country, it is necessary to show your language advantage and try to choose the country with German as the official language. In this way, people do not need to learn another language for job hunting and life, and they will adapt to it faster.

There are some differences between Germany and China when looking for a job.

In Germany, differences between schools have little effect on job hunting.

Just because you are a graduate of Technical University of Munich, you will not be impressed. By analogy with China, maybe a graduate of Tsinghua University will be very popular.

A German university’s graduation score is far more important than the university itself.

At the same time, it is also very important to have good internship experience.

From the professional point of view, engineering majors, such as machinery, electronics, etc., are easier to find a job.

Liberal arts and architecture are more difficult to find jobs.

Of course, language ability is also an important factor, German is the most basic, if you work in the local, fluent German will make your job search more efficient.

If you have a good command of English, you will be invincible.

Germany’s personal income tax will be relatively high, plus the social pension insurance, medical insurance and other contributions, every month half of the bonus income to the state.

The after-tax net income of master’s degree graduates is around 2,500 euros to 2,700 euros.

This money can live comfortably in Germany.

Most of the graduates are considering whether to give up their Chinese citizenship and become German citizens.

Before you think it through, consider applying for permanent residency.

Under the new law, foreigners can apply for permanent residency as long as they have worked in Germany for two years.

The point of permanent residency is that foreigners are treated the same as Germans, but without the political right to vote.
