What should be prepared before studying in France

Before studying in France, we need to prepare basic materials such as passport, ID card and transcript, as well as daily necessities and clothes. The weather in France is quite dry, so we don’t need to bring too many heavy clothes. The following is the list of studying in France.

1. Passport: generally, it is completed in 15 working days after submitting the application form.

You need to apply in your long-term residence. If you have changed your hukou during university study, you need to write a letter of explanation when you apply for a visa across the territory after university graduation.

2. Id card: both front and back copies should be submitted.

3. Photos: Passport size photos are required, usually about 8 photos.

4. Birth notarization: this needs to carry the birth certificate to the notary office for handling, may be used in the notarization of documents and parents’ marriage certificate, the original and copy of the household register.

5. Graduation Certificate: According to their own circumstances, applicants need to submit high school graduation certificate, junior college graduation certificate and university graduation certificate, which need to be translated and notarized.

6. Transcript: The transcript of each semester of high school, university or junior college should be issued by the school with official seal, and then it needs to be translated and notarized.

7. College Entrance Examination transcript: It needs to be issued by the provincial admission office with official seal, and it needs to be translated and notarized.

8. Domestic university admission letter: original, notarized and translated copy.

9. Certificate of study: You need to apply to the Academic Affairs Office of the university, which also needs to be stamped with the official seal, translated and notarized.

10. Degree certificate: submit the original, certificate, translation and notarization.

Certification needs to be done at the provincial Department of Education.

11. Language Transcripts: Submit transcripts in French or English, depending on the school’s requirements.

Note that French and English exams have different expiry dates, and transcripts within the expiry dates should be submitted.

12. Resume: CV or Resume, written in French or English.

1. It is not recommended to bring too many heavy clothes.

The weather in France is dry, and if it is cold, it is not as wet and cold as the cities in southern China, and the rooms are mostly heated.

2. If you live in a student apartment, you don’t need to bring a quilt. The apartment will provide it.

A rice cooker is recommended (in France, rice cookers are quite expensive), a small one.

4. School supplies There are a lot of Chinese students in France after graduation, there will be a lot of learning materials, dictionaries, school supplies and so on left, you can go to the website to search, see who wants to deal with these things, convenient and cheap.

5. Need to take some common drugs can take some more conventional medicine, such as cold medicine, anti-inflammatory drugs and so on.

6. Entry small post: the luggage checked, must buy good quality, otherwise it may be damaged when checked.

Take some euros with you, the denomination is a little bit smaller, put close to the body, when you get to France, easy to use.
