What are the application requirements for senior high school students to study in Singapore

What are the attractions for students to study in Singapore?

Its climate is pleasant, the perennial temperature in 24-28 degrees Celsius;

It is relatively close to China. It takes about 5 hours to fly from Shanghai. Here is a small edition to take you to know what the application conditions are for high school students to study in Singapore.

Please arrange your application materials in the following order.

Lack of any of the following information, documents, or forms will result in rejection.

(1) Three recent 2-inch photos (color or black and white);

(2) Admission notice from the school;

(3) Officially completed document No. 16 in three original copies, with Chinese address, zip code and telephone number attached;

(4) three originals of duly completed document No. V36;

(5) Financial certificate of family economic capacity (the applicant’s or parents’ bank deposit certificate, the deposit certificate must be notarized by the notary office);

(6) Three originals of duly completed document No. V39;

(7) Document No. (E) 5 completed by the school;

(8) A copy of the letter of approval provided to the school by the Ministry of Education of Singapore;

(9) a completed record correction Card No. IMM (E) 555;

(10) Copies of notarial certificate of bank deposit certificate, notarial certificate of birth certificate, notarial certificate of highest education degree, notarial certificate of transcript and notarial certificate of marriage of parents of the applicant with English attached.

The above notarial certificate must be notarized by the NOtary office in the place where the applicant is located and certified by the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

Interview: High school students who apply to study in Singapore must be able to come to the Singapore Embassy in China for an interview (about one and a half months after the materials are submitted). At that time, please bring the following original documents: notarial certificate, ID card, graduation certificate, transcript, parents’ marriage certificate, bank passbook, deposit certificate, if you do not have ID card, please bring the household registration book;

If the parents’ marriage certificate is lost, the parents’ work unit shall develop a certificate.

The loss of other documents shall be certified by the relevant units.

About two to three months after the interview, the school will receive a written notification of the result of the application. Please contact the school directly and avoid calling the embassy.

Surety: Approved applicants will receive a notice from the Singapore Embassy in China to pay a surety of RMB 30,000 in cash (RMB 30,000).

Please DO NOT GO TO THE EMBASSY TO ASK FOR THE MONEY BEFORE YOU RECEIVE THE NOTICE FROM THE EMBASSY. The money will be collected by THE EMBASSY after you return home.

Service Fee: The fee for a student pass is $40 per year.

The entry visa fee is S $20 per year. The entry visa will be issued four weeks before the commencement date of the school. The entry visa will be processed at the Singapore Embassy in China.

Hwa Chong Institution, formerly known as The Chinese High School in Nanyang, Singapore, was initiated by the late Overseas Chinese leader Tan Kah Kee.

A Chinese-language school founded in Singapore on 21 March 1919.

Today, Huaqiao Middle School is one of the top middle schools in Singapore. Although the language has been changed to English, it still maintains a strong Chinese background and traditional culture.

Through the vicissitudes of life, the school has made unremitting efforts for the spread of Chinese culture overseas, and provided opportunities for the children of overseas Chinese to study in Nanyang. It is an excellent university highly respected by overseas Chinese and enjoys a high reputation.
