Having already distinguished herself in both academics and athletics, Brant is poised to elevate her achievements to new heights. Come fall, she will commence her journey at Carroll College, driven by the ambition to fulfill her calling as a doctor within the ranks of the U.S. Army. This opportunity has been made possible through the acquisition of a highly competitive Army ROTC scholarship, valued at $160,000.
Reflecting on her journey, Brant recounts the challenges she overcame during the scholarship application process. Notably, the requirement to complete a timed mile run presented a unique obstacle in the wintry landscape of Fairbanks. Yet, undeterred by the harsh conditions, Brant persevered, utilizing the facilities at Eielson Air Force Base to meet the rigorous standards.
