What are the subjects of the Swiss study abroad language examination

As long as studying abroad for the language will have a lot of requirements, whether it is IELTS or TOEFL, then in addition to these tests and what we need to prepare, let’s follow together to understand the Swiss study abroad language test.

Swiss study abroad language test 1, English language proficiency test Swiss universities generally require English in IELTS 6 or 6.5 points, some may have a small score requirements, the specific situation depends on the major you apply for.

Switzerland is a multilingual country, and there are opportunities to learn a second or third foreign language.

The official languages of Switzerland are French, German, Italian and Tetoroman. In business and tourism, English is the lingua franca.

Switzerland’s population of 7 million is roughly split between languages: 75% speak German, 15% speak French, 2% speak Roman, and 25% speak English.

The main official and teaching languages in Switzerland are German and French.

2. German Proficiency Test for foreign students, the most important German test is naturally the university entrance language test, and the Swiss Study Abroad Language Test is held by the target university or the University of Fribourg language class or the University preparatory class before the start of the semester, which is held twice a year.

In addition, the more credible German examinations in Switzerland are conducted by the Goethe University, which will have a general German language proficiency test, as well as a vocational German test.

The exams relevant to Chinese students are the ZMP (Intermediate German Examination) and the ZOP (Advanced German Examination), as more and more Swiss schools now require students to pass this test when applying for admission.

3. French Proficiency Examination The current common measure of French proficiency is the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, with six levels ranging from low to high, A1 to C2.

In principle, Swiss public universities require non-native French speakers to have at least B2 or C1 French proficiency.

The French proficiency certificates recognized by Swiss universities include DELF (Diploma of French Study), DALF (Diploma of French Study) and DHEF (Diploma of Higher French Study).

Second, the Swiss study language requirements 1, teaching language is Switzerland, the language of the German, French, Italian, and English, now in the field of education, the four languages had high utilization rate, so everyone before going abroad, you should take a class to use the language for confirmation, and then to prepare.

In public schools, German and French are the main languages of instruction, while English and Italian are rare.

However, in private universities, the concentrated teaching language is basically the average score, and there will be different language areas, there will be more obvious orientation.

2, English requirements if you choose to teach in English, then you need to prepare for the IELTS or TOEFL exam, first to receive professional training, if the ability is more general, it takes a long time, during the preparation to make an appointment for their own test time.

The required score for undergraduate admission is above 6.0 and above TOEFL85.

The admission requirement for master’s degree is 6.8 or above, and TOFL90 or above. Well-known universities and popular majors have higher requirements, so everyone should strive to get a high score.

3. German Requirements If you choose to teach in German and have no previous German learning experience, you need to receive relatively long training and learning. If the budget is enough, we suggest that you directly go to Switzerland to study preparatory courses, which will be more helpful to improve your overall ability.

For admission, you need to provide the scores of the Telford Test. The current standard is that applicants majoring in art only need to get the Test DaF level 3.

General professional applicants should provide the certificate of Test DaF Level 4;

If it is a language major, the total score should be at least 18 points.

4. French is required to apply for French as the language of instruction. In fact, you can choose TCF /TEF test scores to prove your language ability as your application materials.

We suggest that you choose to go to Switzerland to receive professional French training, so that it is easier to get a high score in the exam, but also can be a good way to complete their adaptation process.

To study at a public university in Switzerland, one must meet the educational requirements set by each university;

2. Language Requirements Applicants to study in Switzerland must take the German and French language examinations held by Swiss public universities.

The test, which Switzerland allows students to take when they arrive in Switzerland, basically involves a professor talking to you.

If you don’t do well, you still have a chance to study, and you can take the exam again six months later. If you pass the exam, you have a chance to go to a public university.

3. The tuition fee for foreign students is slightly higher than that for Swiss students.

As for the cost of living is different from person to person, can not be generalized, but also need at least 20 thousand Swiss francs per year, about 120 thousand yuan.
