What are the types of Dutch scholarships

There are several kinds of scholarships in the Netherlands: Dutch Scholarship;

Exchange scholarships;

College Scholarship;

1. Dutch Scholarship This kind of scholarship is a Dutch scale scholarship. Its establishment units include the Dutch Ministry of Education and Education, all research universities and applied universities, and its independent target is all foreign students from non-European Union countries.

The value of the scholarship is not high, and each student can only apply once, and can receive a prize of 5,000 Euros.

In addition to the qualifications described above, the applicant needs to be a first time student studying in the Netherlands and undertaking full-time study.

Ii. The Exchange Scholarship, also known as the China-Netherlands Scholarship, is jointly established by the Ministry of Education of China and the Ministry of Education of the Netherlands. It is funded by the Dutch government and is exclusively for Chinese students.

The cumulative amount of funding is up to 16,000 Euros, which is distributed in batches. Applicants range from undergraduates, postgraduates to doctoral students. The quota of funding is limited, and there are only 25 places per year, so the competition is very fierce.

3. College Scholarship is independently established by the university and funded by the group. It is the scholarship with the widest coverage in the Netherlands.

The competitor of scholarship is every student around. The reference standard is the score and ranking in the final examination. There is no difference between domestic students and international students.

Tulip Scholarship is one of the most famous scholarships in the Netherlands. The name of the national flower of the Netherlands shows how well-known it is. Of course, it is very difficult to apply for this scholarship.

The form of scholarship, if tuition is waived and living aid is provided, is divided according to the student’s grades and recommendation letters, so you should be prepared in these two aspects.
