A guide for Chinese students applying for scholarships

The University of Amsterdam is considered to be the world’s top research university, so the University of Amsterdam is internationally recognized in terms of teaching quality. Besides, the University of Amsterdam has a variety of scholarships, and the amount is relatively high, so the number of applicants is very large. How to apply for the University of Amsterdam scholarship?

Dutch scholarships can be basically divided into three categories: national scholarships, Orange Tulip scholarships and university scholarships.

The University of Amsterdam offers high-quality graduate and cutting-edge research training, as well as one of the best undergraduate education in the world.

It has produced six Nobel Prize winners, three for physics and one each for peace, medicine and chemistry.

Today, as a research university, the University has more than 30,000 students, 5,000 staff and 285 research programs (bachelor’s and master’s programs), many of which are taught in English.

With a budget of more than 600 million euros, the University currently has seven faculties: humanities, Social and Behavioral Sciences, economics, law, Science, Medicine and Dentistry.

With an international focus, the school offers more than 85 master’s programs taught in English.

It has also produced seven Spinoza Prize winners.

The University of Amsterdam is ranked 58th in the world, 17th in Europe and 1st in the Netherlands in the QS World University Rankings 2013.

It is ranked 49th in the world by US NEWS World University Rankings 2011.

This is a full scholarship program with an award of 25,000 Euros, which is enough to cover tuition plus living expenses for one year at the University of Amsterdam.

If you are enrolled in a two-year master’s program, you can continue to receive funding for the second year, subject to certain conditions.

These requirements vary from school to school, but usually include completing your first year’s credits, maintaining excellent academic performance, and attending award-related events as required.

Which majors can I apply for?

AES can be applied to master’s programs in the following five schools: Economics and Business, Humanities, Law, Science, Social Science.

Basic Application Requirements: Students from any professional background who have a nationality outside the EU/EEA (including Switzerland) and who have graduated in the top 10% of their class are eligible to apply.

The selection criteria were based on the degree of academic excellence, personal ambition, and the degree of association between the master’s program applied for and the individual’s career goals.

Detailed application conditions: The five schools mentioned above have put forward more detailed application requirements for excellence scholarship, so after setting the target school and major, you should go to the official website of the target school to check the detailed requirements.

The following is an example from the School of Economics and Business to illustrate more specific application requirements and screening criteria.

For applicants with a nationality outside the European Union/European Economic Area (including Switzerland), provisionally accepted your first admission to the University of Amsterdam’s Master’s programme if they have a nationality outside the EU/European Economic Area and are taught in English.

Because AES will not be awarded a second master’s program in university of Amsterdam the applicant can comply with the Dutch visa rules as a full-time student enrolled in the master’s program applicants at the same time can’t accept any other scholarship selection criteria to the quality of the top 10% graduated class undergraduate course school (university of Amsterdam university some professional requirements 211)

Letter of Recommendation from Dean, teacher, or tutor Quality of Motivation letter (no more than 500 words) Description of Extracurricular Activities English Level: TOEFL 100 (no less than 22 in each section) or IELTS 7.0 (no less than 7.0 in each section) Overall competitiveness of the entire application
