How to apply to study in the United States after high school graduation

Many after graduating from high school in order to broaden their knowledge, see the wider world, so want to go to study abroad, one of the United States is the first choice for many domestic high school students to study abroad, education in the United States are generally on the high side, the overall cultural quality high, and the economy developed, so every students applying to study in the United States very much, so high school students is how to apply for study in the United States?

Let’s look at the content here.

Welcome to read!

What is the motivation of studying abroad that gives you the idea of studying abroad?

Is it the cruelty of the gaokao or the irrationality of China’s education system?

Is it a yearning for other cultures and a reverence for Western science and technology?

Or just want a change of scenery…

Everyone has their own reasons for studying abroad.

And I, only from the following aspects of the analysis.

1, China’s education system, the rationality and irrationality of the university entrance exam of China’s college entrance examination people have for a long time, even through the years has been the reform of The Times, and the Ministry of Education has repeatedly claimed that the fairness of the college entrance examination, but the reality is that the university enrollment expansion makes the scrap rate has risen sharply, the resource of uneven doomed from the start, this is not a fair fight.

Although any system has its defects, the advantages of the American education system are self-evident when compared with the Chinese education system.

Whether it’s the SAT (the National college Entrance Examination) six times a year or the TOEFL (Foreign language Test for Foreign students) every week, the sheer number of opportunities is mind-boggling.

Moreover, the transfer mechanism among universities in the United States makes it possible for students to enter better universities and obtain better educational resources through their own efforts.

2. Relatively relaxed educational environment and sufficient educational resources overseas How developed a country’s science and technology is completely depends on the investment of funds and the cultivation of talents.

The development of science and technology is not done by doing exercises, doing exercises can only practice the brain, perhaps not good practice will also lead to fear and aversion to the discipline and even learning.

And these two points, are in the pursuit of knowledge on the road cannot tolerate.

The right person doing the right thing is an accurate description of the Western education system and talent training mechanism.

Having as much choice as possible allows students to study subjects that interest them, rather than being subjected to painful cramming.

If you love one thing, would you still be absent-minded and idle all day long to spend four years in college?

If this is the only reason you decide to study abroad, then please don’t read on. The advice you want should be about immigration.

This kind of study abroad is not good for anyone.

Tuhao stop, if you are the one.

It is known to all that education is an investment in one’s life.

But studying abroad takes a lot of money and effort.

If you as a parent look at this issue from the perspective of money investment, then I don’t think this kind of study abroad will be as you expect.

If you’re just counting the total cost of your children’s study abroad, and it takes years to recoup the cost, the reality may not be as rosy as you think.

First of all, the surge of overseas students directly leads to the depreciation of the economic value of studying abroad.

The second is the difficulty of staying in the United States, which means that more than 70 percent of the students who study in the United States just consider studying abroad as an experience, whether they come back voluntarily or simply can’t find a job.

But purely from the perspective of money, you will not be able to earn back the money of studying abroad in China in three or four years.

But studying abroad as a life experience is undoubtedly valuable, you will meet international students from all over the world, communicate and cooperate with them;

You can also understand the western customs and customs, and broaden your horizons.

1. Age de high school in the United States is in grades 9-12, which is equivalent to junior three to junior three in China.

Domestic students who have graduated from Grade 2 to Grade 2 can apply for admission to American high schools.

Domestic students who have finished the second grade can apply for the ninth grade of the second grade + high school directly. Domestic students who have finished the second grade + high school are advised to apply for the 10th grade of the second grade + high school.

The minimum age for admission to American schools and high schools is 14.

2. Academic Conditions American high schools also use China to evaluate students’ performance.

The average score is above 80.

Some good private high schools even require students to score in the top 90 or more than 10 percent of their grade.

So students’ grades at home will have an impact on admission.

3. English Standardized Test Generally, American high schools require foreign students to provide a standardized English score, such as the SLEbr, TOEFL, IELTS, or SSAT.

The school determines the English level of the students through the standardized English score, which determines whether the students need to take ESL language courses and the corresponding grade and course selection.

SLEbr is specifically designed for international students to attend American high schools.

This is the most basic English test for international students, with scores ranging from 20 to 67.

According to their scores, they will be divided into three levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced.

From about 20-45 is beginner, 45-55 is intermediate, and 56-67 is advanced.

Another test for applying to American high schools is called the SSAT, which is the entrance test for American high schools. It is mainly used by local students to enter American private high schools.

Students with a score of 79 or higher in iBT are advised to take the SSAT.

The SSAT has one test in China, currently Shanghai.
