Visiting scholars (including post-doctoral research) who are not more than 50 years old at the time of application should be regular staff members of universities, enterprises and public institutions, administrative units at all levels, and scientific research institutions.
In addition to meeting the application requirements for visiting scholars, senior research scholars should meet one of the following requirements: ¢Ù Key laboratory of the State, Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, backbone of the National Engineering (technology) Research Center;
¢Ú The backbone of the innovation team supported by the Ministry of Education or the backbone of the “New Century Outstanding Talents Program” and the candidates of other national talent programs;
(3) Academic leaders of national key disciplines approved by the Ministry of Education;
(4) Senior administrative personnel of central state organs, local administrative departments and large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises.
Among them, the teaching and research personnel are professors and doctoral supervisors;
The managerial personnel of central, state organs and local administrative departments shall hold administrative posts at or above the level of deputy department bureau (including the level of deputy department bureau);
The managers of large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises shall hold administrative posts equivalent to or above the level of deputy divisional bureau (including deputy divisional bureau).
1. The program fully funded by the National Scholarship Fund.
According to the exchange scholarship program of relevant countries, the selection method of “individual application, expert evaluation, equal competition and merit-based admission” will be entrusted to the overseas scholarship application acceptance institution of relevant countries (hereinafter referred to as the acceptance institution).
The CSC does not directly accept applications from individuals or organizations.

2. For special study abroad programs and related cooperation programs, the selection method of “individual application, recommendation, expert evaluation, equal competition and merit-based admission” shall be adopted. All relevant organizations shall organize application and submit application materials according to the program requirements.
