2. Fill in the Application Form Take the above materials to the Exit and Entry Administration Office of the Public Security Bureau where the household registration is located to fill in the Approval Form of Chinese Citizens’ Application for Going Abroad for Private Purposes, photocopy relevant certification materials, and take photos (dark clothes are required).

3. Submit the application. Submit the completed application form with photos and the required materials to the acceptance window. After being reviewed by the staff, get the “Application Receipt for Private Overseas (China) Certificate”, check the contents of the receipt and sign it.
4. After submitting the application, the applicant shall immediately pay the fee at the collection office with the Receipt of the Application for the Overseas Travel Certificate for Private Purposes (the applicant shall pay the fee on the day of acceptance).
If payment is not made within the time limit, the date of collection will be notified separately.
If the fee is not paid within one month after the application, the application will be deemed to be abandoned automatically and the application materials will not be returned to the applicant).
(1) Obtain the passport in person: The applicant shall obtain the passport on time according to the date of collecting evidence indicated on the Application Receipt of the Certificate for Going Abroad for Private Purposes or the date of collecting evidence notified by the Exit and Entry Administration department.
On the day of collecting evidence, the applicant shall collect the documents at the exit/entry reception hall with the “Application Receipt for Private Exit/Entry Certificate” and the payment receipt, along with the resident ID card or household register.
After receiving the certificate, please carefully check the contents of the certificate, and correct any errors in time.
(2) On behalf of others: the representative shall bring the “Application Receipt for Private Exit/Entry Certificate”, his/her ID card and the copy of the applicant’s ID card to the Exit/Entry Administration Department to get the passport.
(3) Door-to-door express delivery: If you want to choose door-to-door express delivery, you must go to the express post counter in the Exit and Entry Administration Office on the day of passport application with the “Application Receipt of the Overseas Travel Certificate for Private Purposes” and pay the express delivery fee.
The scope of express delivery shall be subject to the regulations of the local immigration administration.
