What are the main advantages of studying abroad in France

To study abroad in France are the main advantages: higher education cost is low, the GPA and language requirements is not high, low cost of living, famous in the world high quality teaching level, employment prospect is very broad, and so on, do it today what are the main advantages to introduce you to study abroad in France, if interested in this topic, welcome here.

1. Low Cost of higher education French public schools are tuition-free, students only need to pay a small annual registration fee, can enjoy a quality education.

At the same time, Chinese students and French students enjoy the same tuition treatment.

The French government grants subsidies to students covering many aspects, such as social insurance, housing, transportation and so on.

To ease financial pressure on students, France allows them to work in their spare time or during holidays.

It can be seen that France is a good choice for Chinese students to study abroad, with favorable policies, low tuition fees, first-class education quality and guaranteed employment.

2. Low GPA and language requirements domestic undergraduate GPA will not affect the success rate of applying for French schools too much.

Public universities in France have high GPA requirements, and a GPA3.0 or above is basically enough to meet the requirements of top public universities.

Private universities have low requirements for GP A, so they can apply for GP A preliminary application with their graduation certificate.

This is a great perk for many graduates with mediocre undergraduate grades or who are too close to raise their GPA.

French universities are also less demanding on language scores than American universities, with most schools requiring an IELTS score of 6 or above for their English programs and the top five business schools requiring an IELTS score of around 6.5.

The requirements for the French program are broader. If a one-year preparatory or language school is acceptable, DELF/TCF only requires a level of A2 or B1. If you choose to go directly to university, B2 will also meet the requirements of most schools.

3. The cost of living is low in France.

For example, in France, the most popular city to study abroad Lyon (Lyon), the average cost of living is only 60,000 people per year.

About money.

Even in Paris, the most romantic and developed capital city, the basic cost of daily living does not exceed 120,000 yuan.

Moreover, French universities are recognized as having the longest and most intensive holidays in the world.

The course time is generally from October to January, February to June each year, and the vacation is as long as 4 months/year. Most international students choose to work, intern or travel during the long vacation.

France has generous social welfare, which provides minimum wage guarantee. If you work well, you can basically be self-sufficient, and the money you earn from holidays can meet your living expenses for a year.

4. France has always attached great importance to education and has a long history: as early as the 12th century, the Sorbonne University was founded.

Schools for engineers existed in Napoleonic times.

France’s academic system is ranked seventh in the world, as is its management education, with five of the country’s top 10 business schools, according to the Financial Times.

With six of the best MBA programmes in the world, the quality of French institutions speaks volumes.

5. The employment prospect is very broad. Many enterprises like to hire talents with multi-lingual and multi-cultural backgrounds who study in France.

Foreign companies, especially French ones, offer many good job opportunities.

For domestic enterprises, overseas returnees studying in France are favored by enterprises for their open vision, multi-cultural background, language ability, solid professional knowledge and internship experience. Therefore, students will have a broad development platform whether they return to China or abroad after graduation.

At present, the most popular countries to study abroad are Britain, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and so on. After determining the country you want to study abroad, you can determine your favorite college and major by combining your interests and various information.

At the same time, we need to combine our own actual situation to see whether we have a greater chance to get the offer;

Generally, 5-6 target colleges are selected, including two guarantee colleges, two core colleges, and two sprint colleges. In the case of ensuring to get the offer, we will sprint for more excellent colleges.

The second step, preparing materials applied to usually need to prepare material with a graduate degree, transcripts, in both English and Chinese language transcripts (toefl, ielts, etc.), CV, PS, recommendation letters, job or internship certificate, etc., such as CV, PS, letters of recommendation and so on are very important application materials, general requirement is very high,

It is best for inexperienced students to consult a study abroad agent.

Students need to prepare for the IELTS or TOEFL test in advance.

Different schools have different requirements on students’ English scores, so students need to make adequate preparation in advance according to the requirements of the school.

For example, in some schools in the United States, students can apply to the school even if their English scores are not up to the standard. However, students must attend the school’s language training before they start school. The worse their English scores are, the longer the training will be.

Many foreign colleges and universities accept online application materials, which can save time and labor costs. Students with good English ability can apply by DIY or ask an intermediary for help. For specific material requirements, please refer to the official website of the target college.

You can prepare by knowing when to apply a year before you are sure you will need to study abroad.

After receiving the offer from the school, you can go to the local public security bureau to apply for a passport. Generally, you need to bring your household register and ID card.

After confirming the offer and paying the tuition fee, you can get the CAS/COE admission confirmation letter, and then you can prepare to apply for the visa (usually 3 months before the start of the course).

For visa application, you need to bring passport, photo, household registration, ID card, birth notarization, graduation certificate, deposit certificate, physical examination certificate and other materials.

After getting the visa, you can arrange your own trip, booking accommodation, packing, buying air tickets and other matters. When the school begins, you can go to school to report
