Undergraduate study abroad in Malaysia, what costs do you need?

How much does it cost in total a year?

The following is a list of undergraduate study fees in Malaysia. Let’s see how much it costs.

1. The cost of intensive English classes is usually three months, and the cost is about RM2,000-RM4,300. In good schools, it will be more than RM4,000.

2. Professional Course fee The professional course fee of the Malaysian Diploma is between RM15,000-RM20,000 for one academic year.

Tuition fees for dual courses: approximately RM20,000-RM25,000 for one academic year.

3+0 courses: The average academic year is around RM17,000 – RM25,000.

3. Cost of Living The overall cost of living per student is between RM700 and RM1,000 per month on average.

The overall cost of living is based on the student’s state and lifestyle.

4. The accommodation fee is usually RM290-760 per month if you live in the university dormitory, and RM250-600 per month if you rent off campus (most colleges do not have their own dormitory, so students have to rent off campus).

Accommodation outside the campus is within walking distance of the college.

For the convenience of students who live far away, some colleges even provide bus service for students who travel between them at regular intervals.

In addition, students can also take public transportation, such as buses, taxis, regional buses, electric trains and light rail, etc.

5. Meals usually cost RM4, RM5-6, RM5 for lunch and dinner, RM1-2 for breakfast.

It’s cheaper if you cook for yourself.

The cost of living in Malaysia is not very high, the general price is twice that of China, but there are many goods cheaper than China, the cost of eating out will be the same as the domestic big cities or lower.

Malaysia follows the education model of the British Commonwealth. Students apply for undergraduate or master’s degrees based on their usual grades.

Students who are studying in the second year of high school or graduate from the third year of high school can apply. Universities in Malaysia will issue admission letters according to their grades and other conditions.

1. Students who have graduated from the third year of high school and obtained an average score of 75 or above in high school in Malaysia can directly apply for undergraduate courses in Malaysia and apply for Malaysian scholarship.

2, junior college graduates can directly apply for the postgraduate program or Malaysia promotion program.

Some Malaysian institutions can apply for credit reduction for junior college students.

3. University students studying in Malaysia can apply for credit reduction and continue to study undergraduate courses.

4. Students with a bachelor’s degree can apply for graduate programs.

1. High Level of Education Malaysia has always followed the education system of the Commonwealth countries, with high level of education, and the whole course is taught in English.

Some universities also offer course transfers, and graduates can obtain diplomas or degree certificates issued by prestigious universities in Britain, the United States, Australia, Canada, Singapore and other countries, which are internationally recognized.

During the course, a large number of internship opportunities are also provided for students. The graduates are known for their high quality and strong practical ability.

2. Short duration of study and easy application for a third country. Most universities in Malaysia have dual courses or credit transfer courses with famous universities (mostly public universities) in Britain, the United States, Australia, Canada and Singapore, which implement mutual recognition of credits. The bachelor’s degree is only three years and can be easily transferred to a third country.

A master’s degree can be completed in as little as one year and a doctor’s degree in as little as three years.

In addition to obtaining a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree, Malaysian students can also obtain an internationally recognized qualification or professional diploma, which can be used as a strong counterweight for employment.

4, sound education supervision mechanism Malaysia has the highest education standards in the world, there is a special department – Malaysia Academic Accreditation Bureau, regularly carry out education quality assessment, and the use of quality standards management system, to ensure the quality of teaching, graduation certificate for the international universal recognition.

5, low cost According to the current market, the cost of studying in Malaysia for undergraduate or postgraduate study is only one quarter of the cost of studying in Britain, which is also much lower than other European and American countries. Students can save 50%~70% of the cost of studying abroad, which greatly reduces the economic and psychological burden of students.

Malaysia is the first choice for working families because of its reasonable cost performance.

Suitable for students who do not have a high budget.

6. High Visa Approval Rate Malaysia has a relatively lenient visa policy for Chinese students — no financial sponsorship is required.

Many colleges and universities in Malaysia adopt the fast track visa application process, which means that the university has applied for the entry approval letter to the immigration Department for the foreign students when they receive the admission letter, and the success rate of the visa application is almost 100%.
