How many Italian doctoral scholarships are available? By whom?

Generally speaking, the doctoral scholarship in Italy can get 1000-2000 euros a month after tax, 80% of which is given by the school and the Ministry of Education, and the rest is the sponsoring companies or governments. Today, I will introduce to you how much Italian doctoral scholarship there is.

By whom?

If you are interested in this topic, please click here.

About 80% of Italian doctoral scholarships are awarded by schools and the Ministry of Education, with the rest reserved for company-sponsored scholarships and students from various governments, such as Chinese government-sponsored doctoral students.

Very few scholarships are awarded from the supervisor’s own research funds.

Since there are few doctoral enrollment plans in Italy, ranging from 4 to 12 students in each major, the doctoral scholarship is about 1000 to 1200 euros after tax in one month. However, the quota provided by the Italian government is also small, so the quota with scholarship accounts for 50% to 100% of the total quota, and most of the quota is about 80%. Therefore,

The competition for PhD scholarship applications in Italy is still fierce.

In addition, working as a teaching assistant can also bring in an income, ranging from 25 to 38 euros per hour after tax, depending on the nature of the teaching assistant.

Each PhD also has a special annual allowance for international academic exchanges, and insurance for overseas activities is purchased by the university, and the scholarship may be increased by about 50% during the overseas period.

Although the threshold of learning in Italy is very low, many students with poor language foundation can enter the university through language training, but it is not easy to graduate, many students give up halfway, because they can not understand the course.

Studying and living in a country where Italian is the mother tongue can be a big problem for students who are not good at the other language, asking for directions, or communicating with others in unexpected situations, or taking classes.

Therefore, in order to avoid these situations, it is necessary to lay a good foundation of language before entering the university.

Choose a good Major and School No matter which country you go to study, it is very important to choose a good major for your future employment.

It is very important to choose the major and school suitable for students according to their interest and ability level.

Italy has the advantages of professional fashion design, industrial design, architecture, urban planning and so on.

However, these majors have high requirements for fine arts, and students without a basic knowledge of fine arts should choose them carefully.

In addition, it is not recommended to choose medicine or law to study in Italy.

Studying medicine takes a long time and is difficult to understand because of its specialization.

Moreover, Italian law belongs to the European and American law system, while Chinese law belongs to the civil law system.

In addition, it is difficult to find a suitable major after graduation in different subjects such as philosophy and political science.

In addition, due to different national conditions and different political systems, it is not suitable for students to return to China after graduation.

Be Prepared Because you plan to study and live in a completely new country, you must be prepared to face language difficulties and other problems in the foreign country.

Know your goal and stick to it.

Before going abroad, you should also prepare sufficient funds for studying abroad, so as to live and study in Italy in the future.

Safety Italy is located in the center of the Mediterranean Sea. Many refugees come directly from the sea. The Italian indigenous people are very good.

There are a lot of thieves in big Italian cities, especially in Milan, Rome, Naples, etc.

Whether at home or abroad, we all need to have the awareness to protect ourselves and master the basic safety knowledge.

In a word, we should have more awareness of security to protect ourselves.
