Polk State College alumnus Alex Dyer, who is on the brink of graduating from an Ivy League institution, credits his transformative study abroad experience in Europe for shaping his global perspective and driving his passion for making a difference.
Dyer, who is set to graduate from Harvard University, has been awarded the prestigious Marshall Scholarship by the British government. This scholarship recognizes exceptional American students, like Dyer, and enables them to pursue advanced studies in the United Kingdom. Following his graduation from Harvard, Dyer will embark on a two-year master’s program at Cambridge University, where he plans to delve into the study of housing and homelessness.
