Is studying in Greek universities free?

Most courses at Greek universities are free of tuition, with some masters students paying part of their tuition.

Students can visit our website for more information before applying.

The Greek Ministry of Education sets up seven scholarships for Chinese students every year, three of which are for master’s study or research, each lasting 10 months.

There are four scholarships for the study of Greek, each lasting 10 months.

Some of the scholarships are set up by the Greek Ministry of Education and Religion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Prize Foundation. Some are set up or distributed by non-profit organizations, private enterprises or research funds.

Greek higher education is divided into two parts. The university part includes the university, the National Technical University and the Academy of Fine Arts, and the technical part includes the Academy of Technical Education.

The purpose of university education is to provide opportunities for scientific research, to provide high-level, comprehensive theoretical and applied training for future scientists in Greece and the world, and to help students develop and achieve scientific and technological achievements.

Technical EDUCATION also develops scientific and technical research but also offers programs with a more practical character.

As a result, educational programs in Greece are wide and varied.

All students can benefit from it.

Be careful about making friends when you first arrive in a foreign country. Some overseas students may feel lonely because of the language and living habits they don’t adapt to.

Making new friends can help break the strangeness, but be careful.

After entering a foreign school, you should report to the Chinese Alumni Association of your school as soon as possible for immediate assistance.

Do not meet online friends alone, and do not easily disclose your contact information, address and other personal information to new friends.

Make friends should be on the basis of careful investigation, first light after thick, first sparse after close, in the premise of respect communication, character is no problem after in-depth communication.

At school parties, don’t accept medicine or sugar, don’t drink drinks that have been opened, and when you need to go to the bathroom or leave for a while, take your drink with you or throw it away.

Don’t overdo it. Set boundaries.

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s best to find an excuse and take your friends with you.

Many social places are high-risk zones, so don’t go there alone and don’t leave alone.

Many criminals take advantage of opportunities. If you stay with friends, you’ll be relatively safe.

The more partners you have, the less likely you are to be targeted by criminals.

So go out during the day and try to spend time with friends.

It’s best not to go out at night. Don’t go out alone in a quiet alley or a quiet neighborhood.

If you must go out at night, plan in advance how you will get home.

If you are on campus, you can make full use of the safety facilities provided by the school, such as school buses and campus police escorts.

Before you go out, tell your teachers or friends about your trip.

When walking, found that there are suspicious people gathered on the road, or drunk personnel loitering, to avoid or detour as far as possible.

If followed, should be quietly as soon as possible to the densely populated area.

Take your cell phone with you when you go out. If you feel followed, call the police immediately.

Keep your privacy when living in a foreign country, you should not easily tell others about your family, property, interpersonal relationship, marital status and birth history, especially those you do not know well.

Be careful of using free Wi-Fi in public places. If you log in to your account using Wi-Fi without security authentication, it is easy to get your number stolen and even cause property damage.

Use location features with caution when using social media.

Many international students have the habit of “clocking in” and sharing their location using social media locators such as twitter and instagram, a habit that could create opportunities for malicious individuals.

Take care of your important belongings When you are abroad, you should keep your important documents, such as passport, driver’s license, social security card, ID card, credit card, etc.

Important files should be backed up just in case.

When ENCOUNTERING SOMEONE TO CHECK CERTIFICATE, WANT TO POLITELY ASK THE OTHER PARTY TO SHOW WORKING CERTIFICATE TO VERIFY, DO NOT ALLOW EASILY.

Once the certificate is lost, stolen or robbed, it is necessary to report to the school and the police in time, apply for a written loss certificate, and cooperate with relevant departments to make a replacement application as soon as possible.

Don’t go out with a large amount of cash, maximize the use of bank cards, checks and other payment tools, to reduce the potential threat to themselves.

Don’t trust any information about your personal finances. Phone calls, text messages and emails asking for money transfer or remittance should be ignored or blocked if you receive suspected fraudulent calls.

If unfortunately cheated, to immediately report to the police.
